FAQs:

*Why should I use GH SUPPORT or any growth hormone supportive supplements for that matter?

A: If your goal is to refine your body composition, heighten fat metabolism, and regain some youthful attributes, then the answer is YES.  It is well know that over time, our natural growth hormone output declines.  At its highest levels during puberty and teenage years the body cuts back on those heightened levels over time narrowing to a trickle into the elderly years.[1]     (see fig.1)

*What makes GH SUPPORT different from others I’ve seen on the market?

A: There are similarities with some available, but only GH SUPPORT uses the full amounts of the amino acids shown to illicit greater GH output in clinical studies.  A review of literature revealed that there are some very promising results to expect from combining selected amino acids to heighten ones hGH levels[3] (fig.2) However, most products available are including only esoteric amounts of a few of these amino acids and there are no studies to suggest that using small amounts in a combination will in some way have a synergistic effect on raising hGH levels in humans.  Some products may rely on a theorized hgh releasing effect.  Conversely, hGH supplements are gaining popularity amongst life extension physicians as they’re showing rises in IGF-1 in their patients blood work.  This comes at time when getting a legitimate prescription for injectable growth hormone from one of these forward-thinking physicians can cost upwards of $700 per month!

*Aren’t my levels highest during sleep?

A: Yes.  The average, healthy individual’s body produces its highest levels of hGH during the first few hours of deep sleep.[6]  That’s why we suggest including in your before bed supplement regimen products that may assist in deeper sleep.  Products like Supplement Directs ZMA and Phenibut make great additions for a powerful sleep blend.

*If hGH is produced in highest quantities when I’m sleeping, then why aren’t sleep aids like melatonin and the other products included in the formula?

A:  The body releases significant amounts of hGH in pulsitile increments over a 24hr period, particularly when an individual is in a bout of high intensity training like weight training (see fig.3)  To aid in an even greater release during exercise, GH SUPPORT can be taken just prior to training.  In fact, many of the studies done on hGH stimulation were done on fasted subjects in the early morning hours.  Please note that a high carbohydrate and following elevation of insulin can lessen the hGH released at any time of the day[7].  That would suggest that a low-carbohydrate pre-workout would be the best environment for heightened hGH levels as well as lowering carbohydrate consumption later in the day.
